Ultrasound

We consider our office a one stop shop for thyroid patients. We have four ultrasound machines set up throughout the office to be able to offer real time evaluation of the thyroid during a patient encounter. We have two procedure rooms set up with high resolution ultrasounds for the purposes of performing formal neck ultrasonography and fine needle aspiration. Neck ultrasonography is a tremendous and safe tool that does not use radiation in diagnosing thyroid related conditions and distinguishing the cause of underlying abnormal thyroid labs. It allows us the opportunity to show our patients exactly what we see at the time of the visit and discuss our findings in real time.
